My face is cracking off

Winter isn't here yet so why does my face feel like one of the lesser known deserts? I use lotion all over my body, I moisturize my face at least once a day, I don't use harsh cleansers....yet my face is so dry that if I were a plant my leaves would be drooping to the ground. Sigh. How long until spring arrives?
