Date: 2008-07-18 04:54 pm (UTC)But I really have never liked Nathan F. I think it's because I watched more Buffy than Firefly. He's creepy and gross.

But the first thing I saw him in was Firefly. And he's completely swoon-worthy in that.

Date: 2008-07-18 06:17 pm (UTC)It's okay. I forgive you. *grin*
Fillion is not creepy and gross in Firefly. You must watch it so you get over the creepy thing.

Date: 2008-07-18 06:19 pm (UTC)I told Mralrescate that Fillion looked like he had gained a bit of weight. He agreed that he looked puffy but that was because he wasn't in outer space anymore and he was having to deal with gravity. *chuckle*

Date: 2008-07-18 08:39 pm (UTC)I liked the bit of Firefly I saw; I'd like to see it all someday.
And no, I don't think a hero would show up. But I'm damn glad you forgive me.

Date: 2008-07-18 08:40 pm (UTC)I'll probably someday be able to overlook that, though, in Firefly. Someday. Maybe.

Date: 2008-07-18 11:51 pm (UTC)You must try to see the whole of the Firefly series. Do you have a dvd player? I would be happy to lend you my copy.

You are a bad, bad alrescate. Which, interestingly, is why I love you so.

Date: 2008-07-19 12:47 am (UTC)He was a seriously creepy villian!
I have a DVD player on my laptop, but not otherwise. I think, though, that I have friends with Firefly -- since I bought it for them! -- I'm sure I could borrow it. I just never have.
I will make it a point to ask them; if that doesn't work, I'll let you know and borrow yours.

Date: 2008-07-19 12:47 am (UTC)Oh, my, I don't even know how to respond to that.
I mean, I am a lesbian and I am desparately in love with him. Oh Captain My Captain, indeed.

Date: 2008-07-19 12:54 am (UTC)He's....gah. It's been awhile since I've watched it, but I recall that he (a tribute to his acting, of course) was a gag-able combination of religious-type fervor and sexual innuendo that was REALLY creepy. Seriously.
He was a great villain.

Date: 2008-07-19 04:04 am (UTC)Please *do* let me know if you need to borrow my copy of Firefly. You must come over to the dark side, I mean, you must join the Browncoat Nation. *wink* Honest. I think you would love Firefly.
