This is one of the chipmunks that has been frolicking in my front yard. I was afraid the little fellows had abandoned the area because Zoe had killed one. (I assume it was Zoe...she has been getting out lately.)

I was quite pleased to see this little guy stuffing his face yesterday. I couldn't get too close and he would never "pose" so I could get his stripes but since I promised mysterylady36 a picture I thought this would do. Doesn't he remind you of Marlon Brando?

Puppy update: My uncle may have found the big guy a home. Fingers crossed!

Yup, that's Brando chipmunk! ;) Those little dudes were everywhere at the Des Moines Zoo, but I couldn't get one to pose either. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the puppy!
