I rule the world!

alrescateI had a pretty decent weekend. We went into town Saturday for lunch and then stopped in at Barnes and Nobles where a friend of mine was doing a book signing. She did a nice little book with photographs and stories about her family and their journey from Italy to Springfield Missouri.
The mister and I also played a marathon game of 'Risk' Saturday night/Sunday morning. We started about nine pm Saturday and finished up at about two am on Sunday. (We had no idea it was getting so late!) I'm happy to report that after MrAlrescate's 'Yellow Peril' had almost taken over the world my 'Red Meanies' stuck to their Master Plan and swept through the world. I'm sure I'll be a fairly benevolent dictator. *grin* After sleeping in as late as the dogs would allow we got up and had a nice breakfast and I was able to settle in with a good book.
It's a shame Monday had to come so soon but the good news is I only have a couple more days before I get to go blow glass!
