Are you Viggo-ettes falling down on the job?

I went to see "A History of Violence" at http://www.moxiecinema.com last night and was quite surprised to see Viggo Mortensen in it. In fact he is the main character! Now I'm not a big Viggo fan but how this information slipped by me , I don't know. I knew Ed Harris was in it and that William Hurt was up for an Oscar for his small part but somehow I managed to have no idea at all who else was in the movie.

The movie, by the way, was quite good. It isn't too plot heavy and I suppose you could say that it is a bit predictable but I still enjoyed it. I wouldn't recommend it if violence bothers you--yeah, there's a reason it has 'violence' in the title, and it is quite graphic in at least three scenes. There is also a brutal sexual scene. I didn't think William Hurt's performance was Oscar worthy.

Oh, and for you Viggo-philes....in case you haven't seen it there is an article on Viggo in Esquire this month. It was quite interesting...I read it last night after reading the movie. (The fact MrAlrescate brought the mag home right before we saw the movie was a coincidence that made me open the mag and read.)

Alrescste, it's OT but is the font on your journal as tiny as it is when I read comments in it? I mean, I almost need a magnifying glass to read it and I have really good vision... It's like size -2 font or something...

Well it's a small font but mine doesn't look *that* tiny. How do you enlarge your font anyway?

Go to Manage Accounts, then customize journal, then edit customizations...then the font tab. You can adjust every font in your journal.

I've found that it's easiest to have that window open and have another open with your journal on it...you can refresh the journal to see what the changes look like.

I had heard about this movie. I think it got very good reviews. Too bad it is predicable though. I like to be kept guessing.

Well it isn't really *that* predictable....it is definitely worth seeing. I really enjoyed it....it isn't your 'standard' Hollywood movie. It was something I wouldn't have gotten to see if it hadn't come to our local independent movie theater. If you regularly rent movies or have Netflix, I would recommend putting it on the 'to see' list.
