Happy Early Birthday to moi!

Well folks I'm pretty excited. My friend J.C. works for United and often works international flights because he speaks french. We have been talking for quite some time about wanting to fly off on a trip together before he leaves the airline. Well. The time has come. We leave for Paris tomorrow. Tomorrow!!!

Even though money is tight, I'll never get this kind of deal on tickets....Mralrescate told me we would make it work money-wise. Yay!

I just found out we were going last night so today will be filled with getting work in line for a three day absence, and tonight will be the pack-a-thon. Busy, busy, busy! (What do you want to bet I forget something?)

I'm just glad that I'll have someone fluent in the language with me...and who is familiar with the city. J.C. has already been plotting where to take me.

So I doubt you will hear from me until Monday or Tuesday.....take care of yourselves!

Who me? Green? I've been to Paris--it's about 150 miles up the road. Nice little town-I think they made a movie about it back in the 80's. See, I even have a picture--check my icon. And no, I didn't photoshop the hat--it's actually that way!

Ok, so I tend to get a bit flippant when I'm eaten up with jealousy!! You have to have at least twice as much fun as planned so that you can have some fun for me too!!!! ;-)

Paris is so wonderful!!! You're going to love it. I was only there for a few days, and that was almost four years ago, but I still miss it. It's cool that you have someone familiar with the city, although if you have a little time to plan and a good travel guide you can bumblefuck through, and only get lost once (luckily that was during the day). Congrats! Take lots of pictures, and on the plane make a list of, like, the top three things you want to do so it doesn't end up being a sightseeing blur and you can actually enjoy the feel of the city. But I'm sure your friend already knows that. I'm so happy for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are so having lunch when you come back.

I'm so frickin happy for you! This will be soooooo awesome. I don't know if they're out at this time of year, but a strawberry crepe from a vendor (think hot dog stand) along the Champs d'Elysseus is pretty much my all-time favorite thing to do there.

Paris is sooooo cool. I love Paris. I've been there 4 times in the past 5 years and I'll go again this Easter. It's great that you have someone savvy with you to take you to the must-see places by the shortest route and in the best times. I bet you'll just love it.
